The cap toe oxford boot is the dress chelsea's stricter cousin. Closed lacing, broguing optional, ankle shaft, leather sole.
The upper is dress calf in a deep oxblood. The toe cap is hand-stitched and the throat closes with five pairs of brass eyelets and waxed cotton laces. The sole is full leather with a stacked leather heel — a true dress sole — and the last is the Mercer, narrower through the waist than the Hampton, the sharper silhouette appropriate to a suit.
